Life is a hard disk, and its many components are partitions. You have to defrag them once in a while so that stuff won’t get scattered all over. You have to check each partition regularly to assess them even if you’re not even sure you’re assessing them right. And when the time is right or the need is there, you have to delete partitions to make space for new ones.
One thing though - I’d prefer to have an EXT3 life rather than NTFS or FAT32. Fine, I’d have lesser space for stuff because of the safeguards and requirements of EXT3, but it’s more stable and it’s less prone to defragmentation. Also, EXT3 is secure - no one can access something unless you let them in through SUDO CHMOD. And EXT3’s implementation of access and permissions is simplicity, as compared to NTFS. Life should be like EXT3 - simple, secure and less prone to fragmentation.
Just don’t let anyone get the SUDO password - otherwise life as you know it will be fucked up, by someone you really trust even. I mean, come on - you only give passwords to the ones you trust right? Even if in this day and age where one SHOULDN’T give passwords out, we still give them out. Because of human frailty? Something for the next post I suppose. Anyway. Next post.
(A/N: This analogy can be extended to matters of the heart. And if you do so, that line above takes on a different meaning altogether, especially the acronym. This author, what a smart he is. HUHLOLZ)
